A goal of the Drumheller Rotary Club is support youth in the community, in line with this goal, our club is actively pursuing grant applications through Rotary District 5360.

1) A ‘District Scholarship Grant’ application was submitted with plans of using these funds towards two academic scholarships as well as one trade scholarship, which aims to provide vocational training opportunities for young individuals. Information about this initiative has been shared and disseminated to the schools in Drumheller so that interested youth can apply accordingly.

2) A ‘District Grant Project’ application was submitted with plans to build a Bouldering Wall in the field-house at the BCF to enhance the children’s play area.

The scholarships and the completion of the Bouldering Wall will depend on the success of these District grant applications.
