Nominations are now open for the 2025 Celebration of Excellence, hosted by the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Drumheller and Travel Drumheller. The annual awards recognize outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations for their contributions to the community across 13 categories. The 2025 Celebration of Excellence gala takes place Thursday, June 12, at the Badlands Community Facility.

“We are proud to recognize outstanding achievements across six award categories,” said Heather Bitz, executive director of the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce. “Nominate a deserving business or individual today and help honour those who set the standard for success.”

Drumheller Rotary is accepting nominations for the Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Most Courteous Employee and Citizen of the Year awards.

“Drumheller has many citizens deserving of these awards,” said Heather Dyck, Rotary Club of Drumheller. “Let’s get the nominations in and recognize some very special people.”

Tourism plays a significant role in Drumheller, and Travel Drumheller is proud to highlight the industry’s contributions.

“Travel Drumheller is honoured to celebrate the businesses, individuals and events that make our community an incredible destination,” said Julia Fielding, executive director of Travel Drumheller. “Tourism is at the heart of our region’s success, and these awards— Tourism Business of the Year, Hospitality Ambassador and Event of the Year—shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to create unforgettable experiences.”

Nomination forms are available online at www.drumhellercelebrationofexcellence.com. Paper copies for Rotary awards can also be picked up at SJ Fashions or CIBC. The deadline for submissions is March 24.
