The Rotary Club of Drumheller

The Rotary Club of Drumheller has been serving the community since May 20, 1924 and typically has about 30–35 active members.

Our members work on a variety of projects throughout the year, and everyone is encouraged to get involved as much as they can. Family and friends are always welcome to help out too.

Some of our well-known events and projects include the Rotary Radio Auction, casino fundraisers, White Elephant Sale, Celebration of Excellence, our July 1st Beef on a Bun, and the Rotary Spray Park. We also support other local groups by helping with bartending, event security, and parking, and by providing funding for community amenities like the tennis and basketball courts, the skatepark, the Atlas Coal Mine information centres, the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, and Drumheller Habitat for Humanity.

Rotary is part of a global network of volunteers who use their time and skills to take on major humanitarian challenges. Worldwide, Rotary connects about 1.2 million members in more than 200 countries and regions. Clubs make a difference both close to home and around the world—from supporting local families in need to helping work toward a polio‑free world.
