Cassia Teske, a Grade 12 student at DVSS, was selected as the Rotary Club Student of the month for February 2023. Cassia was chosen for her academic achievement, extracurricular activity and leadership. Cassia has participated on Student Council since grade 7 and is on the honour roll. One of her highlights was participating in the Peru service trip in her grade 11 year. Cassia will be continue her education pursuing a degree in biology. For this commitment, Associate Principal Brad Teske and Rotarian Barb Campbell are pictured presenting Cassia with an appreciation package. This package contains a $25 gift certificate from Riverside Value Drug Mart, a movie pass from Napier Theatre, a free pizza and soft drink from Boston Pizza and a $25 cheque and certificate from the Rotary Club.
