Kasen Wilson, a Grade 12 student at DVSS, was selected as the Rotary Club Student of the month for December 2022. Kasen was chosen for his academic achievement and leadership in the school and community.  Kasen has been on the honour roll since grade 7 and also played football. He was one of the captains this last year and was on the team which won the provincial championship. His future plans are to attend the Agriculture Management program at Olds College. For this commitment, Associate Principal Brad Teske and Rotarian Barb Campbell are pictured presenting Kasen with an appreciation package. This package contains a $25 gift certificate from Riverside Value Drug Mart, a movie pass from Napier Theatre, a free pizza and soft drink from Boston Pizza and a $25 cheque and certificate from the Rotary Club.
