The Rotary Club of Drumheller

The Rotary Cub of Drumheller was formed on May 20, 1924. We have 30 – 35 active members at any given time. We carry out a variety of projects during the course of the year and members are asked to take part in as many as they can. Family and friends are also welcome to participate. Past and annual projects include the Rotary Radio Auction, Casino, White Elephant Sale, Celebration of Excellence, July 1st Beef on a Bun and the Rotary Spray Park. We also assist other community organizations with bartending, event security, parking services and funding for such things as the Tennis/Basketball Courts, Skatepark, Atlas Coal Mine Information Centers, Salvation Army Kettle Campaign and Drumheller Habitat For Humanity.

Rotary brings together a global network of volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world.
